The MacroMate for Nauticam will only work with the Compact Port 30. There is not a MacroMate solution for the Macro Port 87 nor the Macro Port 91.
Extreme MacroGet incredibly sharp 2:1 (twice life-size) macro images with the
underwater removable MacroMate lens for underwater SLR housings. The MacroMate doubles your 100mm or 105mm image size by allowing you to get closer to the subject.
Sealed Achromatic Glass OpticsCustom achromatic lenses are sealed in a glass optical housing and provide extreme magnification with incredibly sharp edges. This unique design produces much tighter and sharper images than simple close-up lenses that are exposed to water. The air sealed chamber maximizes the optical properties of the close-up lens without distortion or soft edges.
The MacroMate is designed for a snug fit on the lens and when not in use, the photographer can quickly flip the lens up and out of the way.
AvailabilityWe regularly stock Flip-Up MacroMates for Subal, Sea & Sea, Ikelite, Nauticam and Aquatica ports. Allow 1-2 weeks for Seacam, Nexus, Hugyphot and Light & Motion. We regularly manufacturer custom versions for special applications usually at no additional charge.

Installing your Flip-Up MacroMateMost MacroMate flip-up designs allow you position the hinge in any position. While most new users install the hinge on top (12:00 position), we prefer to install the hinge at the 10:30 position. In this position, the lens will flip toward the shutter release and thus keep the weight of the lens closer to your shooting hand when not in use. Once you use the MacroMate you'll likely never make a dive without it. However, if you know you're not going to use it, simply unscrew the hinge bolt for a quick release without the need for tools. NOTE: The Titan design is fixed in the 12:00 position due to the angled design of the port. Custom options are available.
