SAGA Fiber Optic Ring Flash - For DSLR Housings
The SAGA Fiber Optic Ring Flash can be manufactured for any type of underwater strobe. Built in delrin and 2mm diameter fiber optic.
The ring flash is an accessory that concentrates the light from the strobe through fiber optic. Its operation is simple:
- The ring flash adapts to the head of the strobe.
- The strobe's light through the fiber optic cables.
- Brings the light ahead of the Magnifier.
It's ideal for professional level and extreme macro photography.
The working range is what allows you to use external macro lenses, approximately between: 2.5-10 cm.
This Saga fiber-optic ring flash can be adapted to any flat port, provided the port is not conical or stepped in some way. This is because fibers can be retracted allowing unscrew the lens with ease. When we move the fibers back, the lighting angle is changed. This system does not require you to use only this type of lighting, it is very easy to remove the flash of the bracket where the fibers are housed and used the team conventionally.
By providing a circular light, you can compose the image either horizontally or vertically and have a correct lighting. This makes lighting in difficult places easier where a conventional strobe could not fit (cracks, holes, etc.).
