Subal Canon 1DX III Underwater Housing CD1DX MKIII

With the CD1DX for the Canon EOS 1DX and 1DC, SUBAL offers an aluminum housing for the latest development of Canon's full-frame SLR cameras. There are no longer any limits to the creativity of the underwater photographer.

The CD1DX MK III housing provides access to all functions of the Canon EOS 1DX / DC MKIII. The start and stop of the video function can be operated from the right-hand grip. The ergonomics are therefore also unsurpassed for this housing; we are the only manufacturer to offer access to the start-stop of the video function specially optimized for the EOS 1DX / C.

The camera is precisely guided on a special slide, installation errors are excluded. An oversized O-ring and the SUBAL QuickLock locking system, which prevents accidental jamming of the O-ring, ensure the greatest possible safety. The well-shaded monitor window offers a glare-free view of the brilliant image of the camera monitor and thus ideally supports the HD video function of the camera. Threads on the base enable rails etc. to be attached. Light pilot lamps can be attached to the top accessory shoe. The most extensive equipment is complemented by an excellent viewfinder optics. Optionally, the magnifying GS 180 finder optics, as well as the magnifying 360° rotatable viewfinder optics WS 45 with an angled viewing angle below 45° can be installed.

The choice of materials, processing, surface protection, and finish corresponds to the usual level of quality, which has led to the proverbial reliability of SUBAL products.

All SUBAL front ports with bayonet connection can be used on this housing!
